A glimpse inside a home theater system

Home theater design is not an easy question. There are so many options that it might be overwhelming for a beginner. Early in the planning phase, you may only want a ballpark cost that is personalized to your exact area. Take advantage of our free in-home estimate by contacting us. You'll understand exactly what equipment is required, what goes into the installation, and what is achievable with today's technology. Let's look at what it takes to build an amazing home theater system that will put you right in the thick of the action.

Behind the scenes

In its most basic form, a home theater is a 5.1 speaker configuration. However, in order to properly enjoy authentic home theater sound, the speakers must be linked to a Home Theater AV Receiver. The AV receiver is in charge of everything from audio and video switching to the actual sound that emerges from each speaker. Furthermore, it has AM/FM, WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity. In short, here is where the magic occurs.

Quality design and installation

We do not design and install "cookie cutter" home entertainment systems. Sure, many of the components are the same from system to system, but we take pleasure in providing a system that is tailored to the individual or family who is utilizing it. We care about the quality.

So many options for speakers

When connected to the AV Receiver, the home theater speakers are meant to immerse you in the action. We've all heard the phrase "5.1 Dolby Digital" on our television displays or on the back of a Blu-Ray disc. Simply told, the disk has been prepared in a home theater format for five speakers and one subwoofer. Got it? The subwoofer is labeled as nr.1 since it does not produce higher frequencies. So we know we need at least 5 speakers and one subwoofer to complete your home theater setup.

Home Theater speakers exist in almost every form and size, with options ranging from floor standing to in-wall and in-ceiling. During your FREE consultation, we will assist you in selecting the speakers who are most suited to your family.

Deliver the bass.

The subwoofer is next in line. When building and constructing a 5.1 surround sound system, you will require one subwoofer. A 7.2 system requires two subwoofers. The subwoofer is often situated in the front of the theater and provides the bass that every home theater owner loves. Don't just hear the action—feel it.

Universal Remote Controls

One of the most pressing concerns that designers and integrators face is simplicity of use. Sure, all the bells and whistles are fantastic, but what good are they if they're too difficult to use? When we create your home entertainment system, we'll propose a universal remote control that will operate every part of your system, making it simple for everyone in the family to use.
